All
listed lubricants are FDA approved per 21 CFR 1783910 Paragraph
(b)
AMCO
4874 is
a lubricating oil designed for aluminum blanking. It is specifically
formulated for use on the conversion press operating at 200 - 400
strokes per minute.
AMCO
4880 lubricant was formulated for high speed blanking and
forming presses operating in excess of 600 strokes per minute. It
is an excellent lubricant for tab forming. Additionally, Amco 4880
increases die life and eliminates transfer.
AMCO
4882 is an environmentally designed lubricant ion oil for
aluminum and steel blanking without sacrificing the dimensional
accuracy of the process. It is specifically formulated to meet the
Clean Air Act of 1990 by minimizing VOC's without compromising die
life of lubricity. It can be applied by spray or used with mechanical
devices is automated processes provided the metering devices can
control the film thickness of deposition.
AMCO
4942 lubricant is a high solids, solvent free formulation
which is applied as a pre-lube on coils before shipment from aluminum
mill to the end user. Amco 4942 id fed directly into the forming
presses at speeds in excess of 600 strokes per minutes. Additionally,
it boasts minimal volatiles and eliminates lube transfer.
