Dross Treatment

Solid brick of sal-ammoniac. Quickly cleans and re-tins soldering iron tips. Simply rub the hot iron tip on the brick, then melt fresh solder on the tip.

Used to create dross or slag in the casting/smelting process. A chemical composition of organic resin acid and chlorides that acts as a catalyst and a reducing agent on non-ferrous metals. It is a free-flowing powder and is used as received.
